Baby Ava, will be here in 4 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited, I can't believe it. Time is flying by. Every 9th we mark off another month! Our Baby celebration is in 3 weeks which is also exciting.
i decided to start making lists of what I still need to do before Ava gets here. I have been making a list of clothing we still need. Since Bella was a summer baby, not too much of her 0-3 month stuff will work since it will be freezing! I also started my hospital list. It's so different since I will be far away from home, so it's not like Luke can run home to get what I need. i am also not sure how long the baby will stay in the hospital. It will be different to have a newborn, but physically feel good! (well tired, but good) It will definately make it easier for breastfeeding, so I can really consentrate on that. My boobs had gotten fuller and feel that tingly way when your milk lets down. I feel like the medications are doing their jobs. Only 8-9 weeks until I start pumping! it will be a little rough because you pump every 3 hours including at night! (I am not the best pumper, I prefer the baby nursing, but am determined to EBF.
My hospital list is funny because it's more like a mini-vacation list. Comfy clothes for a couple days, TISSUES (this one is huge because hospital tissues are like sandpaper and I know i will cry alot! happy tears) snacks, laptop, camcorder/camera. (got show this little cutie off right when she is born!) my own pillow/blanket. From being in the hospital so many times I have learned i don't like the scent of their linens. it makes me want to puke! So i bring my own. ALso i still am searching for a coming home outfit but it dawned on me, that Miss Ava could have a poop blow out on the way home and then she wouldn't really wear it "home" so I am not sure on that yet. We have a 3 hour car ride home, so both Ava and I will probably sleep with a couple stops to nurse.
Another hard part of IF, is watching it take hold on your friends. Two of my very good friends "J" and "K" are both in the 2 week wait from IVF/FET cycles. I am praying very hard for the both of them. They are both wonderful loving women who deserve this to work. It's hard to watch people you are close with go through IF. it also brings up my own pains of IF. So many don't realize how lucky they are to be able to get pregnant easily and have a healthy baby! I am thankful for my many blessings daily.
