So I have been trying to wrap my mind around the fact that it's true, we are indeed pregnant! It seems so unreal. I am so happy. It's such a joyous occasion. A new baby is such a blessing and we are in a place ready to receive such a blessing. It feels like it's all coming together. We have told Mike and Bella and they are so excited. Of course Mike wants a brother and Bella wants a sister. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics of the family change. Who will be outnumbered? Who will share a room? Having had both a son and daughter they each present their unique challenges. In a couple weeks, I have an appt. with my ob/gyn to start inducing lactation. Yes, I will be able to breastfeed the baby. I am really happy about that. It's quite a process to do, but hey I can do anything I set my mind too.
We are ready to set our u/s appt. I *think* it will be 7/28. We can't wait. And then we can make the "announcement!" whoo-hoo. I think I will scream it from the roof tops. i am enjoying every day of this. i did let myself look at baby clothes today. i didn't buy anything, but they are so cute. I will go crazy when I can buy stuff.
