I have been so busy this week. there is so much to write about.
1. Buffy feels really good. She has flutters, but I am waiting for the call that she felt one hard kick. Our next baby appt. is Oct 1. I can't wait.
2. Boobs! I had a doctor appt. this week for inducing lactation. It's very important to me to breastfeed this baby. I nursed Mike for 14 months and Bella for 30 months. Both times were a very rewarding experience. I love nursing because its such a bonding time for just the baby and myself. A lot of Intended moms choose to breastfeed, i think because it's such a nurturing and close bond. Luckily modern medicine is advanced enough to help us induce lactation. I am going to be following this protocol www.asklenore.com. My ob/gyn was a little unfamiliar with this so I contacted my local La Leche League about it and they were great. They sent me a bunch of information and invited me to attend meeting. They don't get to work with a lot of intended moms so they are just tickled. I am so happy so many people are really getting involved and showing so much support.
We are 16 weeks tomorrow and that is so exciting. In a couple weeks we will know the baby's gender and then our baby shower is in two months. I can't wait for everyone to meet Buffy. She is so great.

I can not believe you are already 16 weeks pregnant! How amazing :-) I love that you are going to induce lactation. I am 100% for breastfeeding (as you know). I am still nursing Mia and she will be two years old on the 9th of October.
