So our sweet Baby Ava is wonderful. Like I mentioned in my last post, I do tend to hold her all the time, but I can't help it. She is such a joy to have around. She is happy and social. She smiles all the time.
I feel so happy, so blessed. It's amazing how things work out. While I don't know if everything happens for a reason, I do know now that having the hysterectomy led me to having Ava. At the time, I couldn't see that and it's was emotional a hard time, but having her makes life so wonderful. For the first time in 7+ years since I struggled with IF, I feel like I have all my babies. I feel like I don't have to be searching for the "how" I am going to have another baby. Although we are starting to get that questions, the famous "Are you done having kids?" or the statement "you ARE done, aren't you?", like we would be crazy if we wanted 4! LOL I am not ready to have a definate on that yet. I am only 30, so we will see what the future holds. I have a lot of love to give so .................. , I have things I want to do first though. I want to get through nursing school, I want to enjoy the new baby phase for a while.
Ava is now 7 weeks and growing like a weed. we had her baptised last week. She is such a good baby. We see the doctor next week for her 2 month check up
